Romer Handcuffs

The Romer handcuff was manufactured by Walton, Romer & Co. It is marked with an elliptical trademark with the name of the company on top, the patent date of "April 27, 80" on the bottom and "Newark, NJ", in the middle. Due to where they were manufactured, they were nicknamed "Jersey Cuffs". Patented in 1880, original Romers are very rare and very expensive.
