Leather-wrapped irons, stamped with Germanic proof marks on both end links: an oval, with a crown over a 'DB', and a 'V' on the reverse side. Total weight: 7 lbs. Overall length: 4 1/4 feet. The leather wraps were intended to protect the labor aspect and productivity of the slave/prisoner.
