Hiatt UL-1 Handcuffs

These handcuffs are termed "Ultimate". They are well named. These cuffs are stored in the officer's handcuff case folded like regular hinged cuffs but once opened to a flat profile, they lock into that position and become a rigid pair of handcuffs. They lock and double lock like regular cuffs using a standard key. The same key can be used to unlock the center rigidifying mechanism as well. Aside from this feature, the cuffs also have a high friction plastic casing around the lock cases which gives the officer greater control while applying them.
